We have demonstrated our ability to use variable levels of radiation dosage with the clinical scanners at The University of Florida. This allows for a 90% reduction in non-critical areas, while the whole body images are available at a lower dosage. We have also implemented this with our altered collimator on a GE BrightSpeed scanner.
